Space Shift

Fun!
Goes difficult quite fast, but fun nonetheless. Perhaps some extra items you can grab, boosters, other enemies/dangers. It's a simple fun game and I liked it.
Thanks for your review and for your proposals!

Remembrance Day (WW2 inspired)
Rated 4 / 5 stars January 29, 2009
I like it
mr. Haigh
This is quite the piece you made, very admireble. But I find it more of a movie version of the world war 2 not the "real" version.
My grandpa used to tell me stories about those times. It was either really sad or (at the end of that dreadfull war) one big party, as they all were happy it was officially over. I can't really say I find the music logical (a little to heroic for my taste) or real for those times, but it would fit perfectly in a movie. I also think I might get some bad remark for this review, and all I can say is that this is my opinion. I would like to hear from you what you find of this particular opinion.
Here I stop before this gets to long. Or to full off opinions. Hahah!
With kind regards,
Anneloes
Thanks for taking the time to listen to the track Anneloes. I composed this track in memory of my grandparents who all fought in WW2. You are right it does have an heroic theme and I see them as heroes as I see anyone that fights for the freedom of there country a hero. I was also inspired by scores like Band of Brothers and Saving private ryan. This was not only a tribute to the Fallen but also from a composers point of view treading new musical territory. I hope this has answered where I'm coming from with the music. and thanks again
Tears For The Beloved (Piano)

Nice
It made me remember about my childhood. My grandmother used to play the piano and around 15 sec. it sounded like a piece she used to play. Very endearing, nostalgic and plainly nice. Keep up the good work.

You know I like it
I saw the progress you made throughout the whole project. Even helped you out with the "lady parts"..! You grew as an animator and tried some other techniques, instead of just ALWAYS THE SAME THING! You know what I mean..
Keep up the good work, mr. Romero.
Your ladyparts always help me out :)

Very nice!
Very nice indeed. Nice story, good pacing, enjoyable music. I liked the excellent voice acting and THAT made the characters all the better! Very professional.
The only thing that bugged me, (and I hope you don't think of me as a nitpicker) is that the story gave me a typical amarican 90's cartoon feel. And don't get me wrong, I liked most of those american cartoon shows, but they always seem so.. chiché and predictable. And that is what I thought/felt when I watched this. Nothing to new or never done before.
I really like your style. And thinking how you all animated this, in the span of 1 month leaves me in awe! You did a very fine job and the chance of you winning the Halloween competition aren't that slim with a beauty like this! Keep up the good work. I'll be watching your progress now and then.
Sincerely yours, Anneloez

Simple
I liked the voice. It reminded me of Bruce of Family Guy. Fun indeed. But the rest of the animation was, so-so..
